These are exciting times at Durham & Cleveland LTA as we work to capitalise both on the immense popularity of tennis as the country recovers from the pandemic, and on the exceptional performance of the UK’s top-ranked players Emma Raducanu and Cameron Norrie.
To ensure success, the County is looking to strengthen its Executive Committee by appointing two important volunteer positions that will focus on achieving our core objectives:
Competition Lead – to increase the amount of competitive tennis offered across the County and the number of venues supporting a competition programme, working closely with the LTA Competition Development Partner together with our coaches and clubs.
Club Liaison/Participation Lead – to ensure all clubs have the tools, knowledge and opportunity to access the resources available to achieve their ambitions – membership growth and/or retention, income growth, sourcing funding, facility development, recruiting and building coaching programmes, etc.
