The Welfare Officer will need to attend an LTA Safeguarding & Protection in Tennis course followed by a Time to Listen course within three years of completing the initial Safeguarding & Protection course. Please click HERE to find courses coming up in the near future. The LTA course costs £30 but if the candidate is a volunteer, they can be reimbursed this fee in full after attending. A Welfare Officer must also have a current (i.e. issued within the last three years) LTA volunteer DBS check. To apply for this check, which incurs a small administrative fee, please click HERE.
