Despite the result, every player gave their all and represented the county with pride. The match highlighted the high standard of competition at this level, with several rubbers going right down to the wire.Although the result did not go our way, the experience gained will be invaluable for the players’ future development. Well done, girls!𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟭 𝗕𝗼𝘆𝘀The Under 11 Boys team started strongly in their group, recording an impressive 4–2 victory over East Scotland. They then narrowly lost to Northumberland, with the tie being decided by a match tie-break.The boys progressed to Sunday’s final against the Isle of Man. After some fantastic tennis from both teams, the match finished level at 3–3, meaning another match tie-break was required to determine the winners.Despite a tremendous effort, the boys narrowly lost the tie-break 10–7. Congratulations to the Isle of Man on their victory.A huge well done to all of the boys, whose doubles play was particularly impressive throughout the weekend.
