Durham and Cleveland Tennis is recruiting for two roles to lead the County Performance Development programme
Are you a tennis coach passionate about tennis and finding and developing young talent? Durham and Cleveland Tennis is looking for two dynamic coaches to head up our County Performance programme as 10U Head Coach and 11+ Head Coach.
Durham and Cleveland Tennis works in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to grow participation, support clubs across the county, identify talented players and prepare them for the National Performance Pathway. As County 10U Head Coach you will play the key role in finding and developing talented young players in Durham and Cleveland and launching them on the path to Regional and National success. As County 11+ Head Coach you will inspire and nurture this talent to achieve their ambitions in tennis and for the County, capable of performing with distinction at Regional and National level and in County Cup.
Overview
The County 10U Head Coach will organise, manage and deliver 10U County Training and Performance Development, County Open Days for talent identification and County Cup teams up to 10U. They will cooperate closely with the County 11+ Coach to achieve unity of purpose, strategy and goals in the County Performance programme.
The County 11+ Head Coach will organise, manage and deliver 11+ County Training and Performance Development, County Cup teams from 11U to 18U and a smooth transition for players from the County 10U programme and later into Adult County Cup. They will cooperate closely with the County 10U Coach to achieve unity of purpose, strategy and goals in the County Performance programme.

Terms & Conditions
- Part-time, self-employed role
- Retainer paid to provide for the administrative responsibilities of the role
- Full (paid) engagement on court at weekly County Training sessions

Qualification/Experience
LTA Level 3 Accredited+ (minimum) coach with full driving licence, good administrative, IT and inter-personal skills. Please refer to the job description for more details
